Enjoy

Hi there! I finally got a card done for Monday's My Favorite Things sketch challenge. I had this paper lying around and thougth it would be super cute as the gardener's dress. This is one of the newly released sets from MFT call Can You Dig It?. I am planning on using this set for a couple of Mother's Day cards. I paper pieced the dress and gloves with Die Cuts With a View dp and did the shoes and hat using SU! Apricot Appeal. I used liquid applique for the flowers on the hat and for the single flower. I then added pink and blue stickles to the centers of the flowers. I did some doodling around the edges of the main image some faux stitching on the hat. I also used my cool grey copic marker for shadowing around the image for a little depth. The giant prima was a white one that I dyed sky blue with a classic stamp pad. It has actually been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks so I was happy to finally use it.

Thanks so much for stamping by!
