true friend

Good Afternoon, here's my card for today's color challenge. I just got this dp from Jo's yesterday and thought that it would be perfect for the challenge; pomegranate, basic gray, and sky blue. Not much to this. I got to use my new stamp sets, True Friend and Cart Postale! I stamped vesamark on the ornamental square and then embossed with clear ep. The sentiment was also embossed. I have had that gorgeous ribbon for ever. It may have come off of a package:) Thanks for stopping by!

New Stamps!!

Hi there! This is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. Thanks Beate for the great sketch. I embossed the main image in clear ep on white paper. I then sponged on the following colors to match the dp; creamy caramel, apricot appeal, rose romance, really rust, close to cocoa and choc chip. I did a little paper piercing and added those gorgeous brads from making memories!

I had a table at a craft show yesterday and did pretty well! I took orders for 25 altered Altoid tins. They look like little pursed; perfect for gift cards. I have to make a few more and then I will post a picture! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Fall Treat Bottles

Happy Friday! I am doing a craft show tomorrow and wanted to bring something fun! I thought these bottles would work. These are cleaned Frappacino bottles. I didn't have enough candy to fill the other 2:( , but you get the idea. I embossed the little leaf from Fall Whimsy with copper ep on water color paper and then colored it with Apricot Appeal, Ruby Red and Pumpkin Pie and then cut it out. 'For You' is embossed with clear ep over Ruby Red. The sentiment is from Heidi Grace. Thanks so much for stopping by!

fall blessing

Happy Wednesday!! This is for the October Dirty Dozen Sketch (click title). I have had that dp for a couple of years. I love the color and texture of fall, so I incorporated a piece of burlap and of course, ribbon. I stamped the sentiment with close to cocoa and then embossed with clear ep. I then stamped over the stentiment with the canvas background stamp and then rubbed on close to cocoa, really rust and more mustard. I stamped the background with the tiny leaves with really rust on really rust paper and then distressed the edges with really rust. This is a really great sketch, I plan on trying a few more. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

friends

Good morning!! I have to take my daughter to school, but wanted to post first really quick. I will add the recipe later, although this is pretty straightforward. The stitches are from CTMH simple stiches. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous day!

Boy Birthday

Hi there, here's another faux postage card and Beate's Sketch Challenge. I wanted on that would be suitable for a boy/man. I don't do enough of those. I kept it really simple. The stamps are from the $1 rack at Mike's. Have a great Sunday, thanks for stopping by!

just for you

Here's another card for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I really love this layout, I guess you couldn't figure that out. I got the tutorial and template for the stamp images here at SCS. I saw this about a month ago and have been really wanting to try it. I think the stamps are adorable. Instead of making the clear template I used my stamp a ma jig to put the flowers where I wanted them with black craft ink and then embossed them with clear powder. I was really careful as I added the pink shading with my blender pen near the black printed lines so that it didn't smear. The just for you stamp was in a tiny package of clear stamps on the $1 pack at Mike's.

OK, so I am going to beg for a little love and feedback. I would love to chat with some of you visiting my blog. I will visit yours as well if you leave a link. Thanks so much for stopping by!
