Hello! This is for the current sketch challenge at SCS. The blossom stamp is from Rubber Stampede. The accent is from Art of the Orient from SU! I stamped the image on white paper and added color with a blender pen and ink pads. I used Ranger Distress Ink for the distressing around the edges. The dp is from DCWV Old World Stack.
I need to send a card to an extended family member who just found out he has throat cancer, I don't know him well and am trying to decide if this card is appropriate for him.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Laura, I think the card is absolutely beautiful! I think it is more the thought than the card that matters, but I am sure anyone would be happy to receive this card. So sorry to hear about the throat cancer though. I will say a prayer for him.
I think of sending cards as a form of ministry and encouragement. It doesn't matter how good it is or isn't; but yours are always sensational--not to worry. One of my friends' husband just went through about 6 months of chemo/radiation for a similar cancer and came through it cancer free, so there is always hope!
Laura, I think the card is not only beautifully done (as always), but I think it is appropriate for your occasion. The backgrounds lend a masculine touch, and the blossoms symbolize hope. The sentiment inside and the fact that it was personally created by you will no doubt touch him. So sorry for that bad news and pray that everyone will somehow find hope and strength in our God who holds it all in His hand.
It's a lovely card. I think anyone (male or female) would be glad of its receipt.
